Apple is widely known for its ecosystem and how everything is integrated so perfectly, which enhances the user experience. Some examples of the system-wide integration that apple products use are using your iWatch to unlock your MacBook, using your HomePod to listen to music, and receiving iMessages on all of your synced devices.
Apple also does something that none of its competitors do; it can detect nearby devices and allow you to take control of them. The Universal Control feature will enable you to recognize the nearby devices and the Apple devices your friends or family own.
However, sometimes unforeseen problems might arise, disrupting the entire ecosystem. One of the most common problems is when iMessages don’t sync on your Mac, iPad, or other devices. The fix is pretty simple, so let’s see how we can resolve this issue.

It’s usually an issue of devices not syncing with each other when iMessage isn’t working correctly. This can be fixed by making sure your iPhone, Mac, and iPad have your phone number, and Apple ID enabled and synced to send and receive text messages.

- A message will pop up reading “Use your Apple ID for iMessage“ tap on it and enter your Apple ID details that you use on your Mac or iPad to sync the iMessages.
- Ensure you check your phone number, Apple ID, and other mails you use for iMessage under the “ You can receive iMessages to and reply from “ sub- section.
- Select your phone number under the “Start new conversions from” sub-section if you don’t wish to choose a particular email address.
- Make a mental note of the Apple ID you used on this, as you will be using the same ID on your Mac or iPad.
