- After all the necessary files have been selected you can select the share options in two ways.
- Right-clicking on the selected files and we will get the share option
- Alternatively, the share option can also be selected from the panel located on the upper side of the page.
- After selecting the share option, a window will appear prompting you to add the id of the person that you want to share the files with.
- After entering the email address, you also have the option to select the permission level of the files, Which are namely:
- Viewer
- Comment
- Editor
- After the role is selected, click the Done/Send option and the files will be shared with the respective person.
- To copy the files, Log into the account the files are shared, and by right-clicking the chosen file, You will find a copy option, Click it.

The principle behind copying the files are the same between Pc and Phone, One needs to log into their account, select the files, click on the share option and enter the ID, So if you want to copy the files from one google drive account to another, Follow these steps.
- Go to your google drive application installed on your phone, and select the ID that has the files that you want to share.
- Next, Press and hold the files that you want to share, If there are multiple files that need to be shared, Tap the other files after selecting one. Click on the three-dot icon that appears on the upper-right corner of the screen.
- A Window pops up, asking to enter the email id of the receiver and the access permission level like Editor.
- The files have been shared, but to copy the file, we need to perform an additional step.
- Log into the profile where the files are shared and select the files that you want to copy to your account. Again, tap on the three-dot icon on the top corner of your screen and select the copy option.
- After selecting the copy option, you can then rename the files as you want to, and then by using the move option that can also be accessed from the three-dot icon, you can move the files wherever you want.

When it comes to Apple products, people generally have a misconception that it does not offer as many features or have the same set of processes as compared to Android.
But to transfer files from one google drive to another, the steps are identical to what one would require in an Android phone.

Operating on the same OS, the process of transferring files from one google drive to another is basically same for both Iphone and Ipad.
One needs to log into their account, select the files, click on the share option and enter the ID, So if you want to copy the files from one google drive account to another on Ipad, Follow these steps.
- Log into your Google drive account that has the files that you want to share with the recipent.

How to transfer all files from one google drive to another on Mac/Macbook?
Transferring files on the Macbook is no different than transferring files on a Windows or Linux PC, but if you have downloaded the Google Drive Application on your device, You may need to perform this extra step, If you are accessing the Drive directly from your browser, feel free to skip this step. - Before transferring files, you need to first sync your device with the Drive account, So after you have installed it, you can find the Google Drive application on your finder.
- Click on the Sync option to transfer the files from your Macbook to your Account.
