Step-2: On the home page of the Microsoft Outlook Online web application, click the New mail to get a receipt for the message we sent.
Step-3: Click the three dots in the right corner and click More options.
Step-4: Once we click on More options, the Message options dialog box will appear. Choose Request a read receipt to get a receipt for the message you send.
Step-5: If you receive the read-receipt request, then click settings -> Mail -> Message handling. Under Read receipts choose any of the options and click Save.
- Ask me before sending a response – Choose this to notify me before sending a response.
- Always send a response – For all the read receipt requests, it will be sent automatically.
- Never send a response – Decline request for all the emails.
