- After the image is added to the document click on it to select
- Position it by dragging it and using the tabs to alter the size
- Go to Wrap and send the image behind the text
By doing this you will have a background image set for a particular page instead of the entire document.
How to write text on background image in Word?
Along with images, you can also add text to the background of a document. Here is how to do it.
- Open the document and click on the Design tab in the top ribbon.
- Under Design, you will see the Watermark option. Click on it
- You will now have a popup window
- Click on Text on the left. you will have different options.
- You can add the text, change the font and make other adjustments using the options available.
- You will see the preview on the right.
- Once you are satisfied with the watermark click on Ok to apply it to the document.
